If we are on a measure, leave your name, your town and which room you want renovated. We call back the same day where we can.
What to tell us
- Your town — Springwood, Katoomba, Leura, Blaxland, Glenbrook, Winmalee or anywhere between Lapstone and Mount Victoria
- Which room — main bathroom, ensuite, second bathroom, laundry, or more than one
- Rough size — "about two metres by two and a half" is enough to start with
- Roughly when the house was built — this tells us whether asbestos testing is likely and what the framing is probably doing
- How the floor is built, if you know: timber over a subfloor, or a concrete slab
- Whether the house is single storey, split level or has the bathroom upstairs
- Access — driveway length and slope, whether a truck can turn, where a skip could sit
- House, cabin, unit or townhouse, and whether it is in a strata scheme
- Owner-occupied, weekender, rental or short-stay, because each one changes the specification
- Photos of the room, including the floor, the ceiling and the window
Why we measure before quoting
A phone quote for a mountains bathroom is a guess. The age of the house, the floor construction, the state of the framing, the fall to the waste, whether there is asbestos and how materials reach the door all move the price by thousands. The measure takes about forty minutes and it is free.
Sometimes the measure shows that a partial upgrade will give you most of what you want for far less than a strip-out. When that is true we say so.
